Encountering Our Divine Masculine in the Wild
There will come a point in your Divine Counterpart journey when you will encounter your Divine Masculine (DM) out in the wild. Now this can be quite the experience like the first time seeing a lion on a safari in Africa or even comparable to a unicorn in your bedroom. There can be a variety of feelings and energy surges that come up with this. Before you know it your mind will be racing and you will be asking yourself… “how do I act?” “What do I do with my hands?”
Haha now let’s just take a real deep breath and CALM DOWN. haha
So let’s take a collective deep breath together and work through this in a very “logical” way. When we encounter our DM’s in the wild, it can be an overwhelming experience, or it can be a very grounding experience. We already know what the energy surge feels like, right? When we connect to their energy or see them in person, it feels like bolts of lightning paired with ants in our pants combine and we lose total control of our bodies. We start shaking and stumbling over our words… When our systems are flooded with such intense energy we forget our names and what day of the week it is. But there are also encounters, when we have learned to calm our shit down, when it is the complete opposite.
When we are grounded within our nervous systems and have done the inner healing, the encounter can be a very grounding experience. One where we discuss the weather and why the sky is blue without feeling like we are going to jump out of our skin… or try and climb them like a tree. I joke… mostly. But it is when we can have a deep discussion and the rest of the world around us fades away. It is just you and them and you get lost in each other's eyes. When your heart beats sync and you can finally take a deep breath that you didn’t even realize you were holding on to. When the weight of the world is lifted off our shoulders and all is right in the world.
This is the encounter we strive for. When we are calm and grounded within ourselves. When we are so sure of our innerselves and the strength of the connection that you no longer waver. You no longer look like you are about to break out in a full body dance where people may or may not look at you with full concern for your well being. When the ants in the pants have faded. This is the place we want to be, the place we achieve when we reach that inner union we so often hear about.
Now where did this blog topic come from today, besides the inner mindscape of Amanda? Well I just so happened to have an encounter today with my DM… yep you guessed it,,, out in the wild. I have always been a big believer in listening to where I am guided and today was no different. I was headed home from the gym and felt the need to stop at the store to look at filter replacements. As I was pulling into the hardware store, I looked in my rearview mirror and you would never guess whose truck was a few cars behind me… YEP mr. Man’s. SOOOO of course I said, out loud, “well played Universe”. When I got in the store, I acted normal, totally played it cool. Haha in reality I just went and looked at the air filters because I knew if I was meant to cross paths with him, I would. Although the old version of me did consider sitting at the front door like a lost puppy dog waiting for him to come in. But I reminded myself how far I have come and we are a badass guard dog now who doesn’t wait around for anybody. Then just as I figured, we crossed paths. This man's face lit up at the sight of me and of course I felt the deep love flood into my heart. Notice how I didn’t dance around with ants in my pants? Instead we hugged and had a great conversation where neither of us would break eye contact. It was calm, it was grounded, it was NATURAL. We went on with our days with hearts full of love. The most important heart being my own filled with my own love.
So use this as a gauge to see where you are within yourself and your inner love. Are you confident within yourself? Do you love yourself fully? Because at the end of the day, inner union is really what it is. The more we focus within ourselves and find that love and balance within, the more they are able to do their inner work as well. So the next time you encounter your DM in the wild, check in with yourself. Be present and enjoy the ride!
